Passport To Beauty Travel List

Hi Beauties, Can I just say something?!!

I’m over-the-moon excited to expand my traveling schedule! Of all the cities I've been to, NYC is still my most favorite city of all time!! What I mean is, I come alive as soon as I touch down. I'm almost sure it's the lights! But you know what haunts me most about traveling…packing. I am tired of packing too much! I always have at least 3 extra outfits...cause a girl needs options right? Only to NOT wear them. Why must I do this to myself every time I travel?

And let’s not forget the fees that I incur if my bags are over weight! In some cases, up to $75! I may as well have my stuff shipped!!

Another thing I struggle with is buying too many of the same essentials. I have plenty of travel brushes and facial washes to last me another year. But the agony of forgetting my essentials and having to get to my destination and buy what I need for my stay is extremely unpleasant!

My recent travels to South Africa have prompted me to update my Passport to Beauty Travel List. After having to downsize my suitcase and makeup kit once again, I think I’ve mastered it (not, lol). I recently purchased new poppin’ purple Ricardo luggage from TJ Maxx but that's a whole other blog in itself... I needed something a little more modern and durable so it can be thrown around by TSA. Because that's their life’s mission, to damage your luggage! After I copped that bomb luggage, I headed over to amazon.com and ordered EveryEzy travel packing cube set. This. Made. My. Life. Listen y’all, I’m on a mission to be intentional even in my packing. The cubes made it easy to be organized and keep my business separate. They made everything super accessible. Just get the cubes girl!

Back to the list. When traveling anywhere make sure to know what the regulations are for packing. The key is being prepared. I’m not a know-it-all so you still need to do some research for your specific travel plans, lol. I'm learning to pack lighter as traveling becomes a regular part of my life. Owwww! So I compiled this list to help me stay on track and not OVERpack. Not every trip needs the same essentials, so tweak as needed. I hope my Passport to Beauty Travel Checklist can provide some sanity from the overwhelming feeling of making sure you packed everything you need.

The price for the luggage ranges form the different sites I went to. I went to TJMaxx and found both of my luggage pieces for under $150. They were not a set originally but went perfectly together. Here are a few places where you can start your search.

Since I purchased mine in store, I wanted to help you locate some with comparable prices. Looking at more luggage is making me want to add another one to my collection.
